Bringing Solutions to Work

Making a Difference

Having been involved with Games Making at the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics, we have seen how individuals and teams overcome immense obstacles and surpass all expectations to perform at the highest levels.

We have a specific interest in the Front Line to Start Line initiative; a national holistic rehabilitation programme for injured ex-service men and women who have suffered a life-changing injury. Sport is a vital first step on the pathway of confident and independent recovery. The programme goes on to supports those who wish to make the progression towards representing their country in Paralympic sport, or working in the sector.

As a result we were inspired to help ex-service men and women join the British Paralympic Team and succeed at Sochi in 2014 and Rio in 2016 by raising funds and awareness. When we’re not in the office or with clients, we are out on our bikes, training for Deloitte’s Ride Across Britain.

This event, in June 2013, saw 700 cyclists aim to ride 960 miles in 9 days from John of Groats to Lands End with the express intention of building on the £1.3m raised on previous rides to support the British Paralympic Association.

As leisure cyclists who didn’t have more than 30 miles a day once in a blue moon under their belt, we felt it was time to do something different and make a difference as a result.
